How to create a Delivery Order (New Version)

Why should you create Delivery Order?


Think of it as a detailed roadmap for your warehouse or fulfillment center, ensuring your customer gets the right products at the right time. By clearly outlining the specific items, quantities, and destination for each order, DOs minimize errors during picking, packing, and shipping.

How to create Delivery Order in Biztory?


1. Go to Product/Services and click Delivery Order


2. Click on Add New

3. You'll encounter this form 


3.1. To choose a Customer or a Supplier, click on Add Receiver

3.2. Fill in the details of the Delivery Order




3.3. Click on tagging to add a tag for this Delivery Order
(If you don't want to add a tag, you may jump to step 3.6; If you don't see tagging, you may contact Customer Service for help in enabling it.)




3.4. Click on the input field and type the tag you want. Then press 'Enter' or a comma (,) to add the tag. You can repeat this step to add multiple tags.





3.5. Click on Save




3.6. Choose the product you want to add in the Delivery Order.





3.7. Click on the 3 dots.





3.8. Click on Settings





3.9. You can select a document type here. If no document type is selected, Delivery Order will be set as the default.

(If you don't see the consignment note option in the document type, you may contact Customer Service  to help you enable it. The document type cannot be changed when editing a delivery order. To view the document type of a created Delivery Order, click on the Delivery Order reference number and follow steps 3.7 to 3.9 )




4. Once you're done, hit save and you have created your Delivery Order.




How to Auto-create Delivery Order?

If you want to create a Delivery Order as a consignment note, do not enable the auto-generate Delivery Order.



1. Click on your profile picture, go to the Company tab, and select Settings.





2. Click on Delivery Order




3. Click on Preferences




4. Enable Auto Generate Delivery Order





5. Select the options




6. Clicks on Sales and select Sales Invoices




7. Create a Sales Invoice
(If you don't know how to create a sales invoice, you may refer to How to Create a Sales Invoice )






8. Click on a Sales Invoice that you just created




9. Click on Delivery Records




10. Click on Deliver Items

(If you select 'With all items after each sales invoice created', you may jump to step 13 as the Delivery Order number is auto-generated)




11. Select the deliver items




12. Click Save




13. You will see the automatically generated Delivery Order number here. You can click it to view it.
