Here is how you can create a Credit Note with Biztory.


1. Click Sales and go to Credit Note


2. Click on Add New


3. You'll encounter this form


3.1. To add a customer in your credit note, click on Add Customer


3.2 Fill up the credit note details.


3.3 Fill up the product details for your credit note.


3.4 Once done, hit save.




How to create a credit note with foreign currency?


1. Click on Sales and select Credit Notes






2. Click on Add New





3. Select a customer 





4. Select a sales invoice with foreign currency

 




5. select the currency
(If the list doesn't have the currency you want, you may click on cashflow and select currency on the navigation bar. Then, enable the currency you want.)






6.  You can edit the exchange rate or click on Get Latest Rate to auto-fill the latest exchange rate.





7. Fill in other info






8. Click Save






How to create a credit note for a sales invoice in either the base or a foreign currency?


1. Click on Sales and select sales invoices





2. Select a sales invoice 

(If you don't have an existing sales invoice in either the base or a foreign currency, you may refer to: How to Create a Sales Invoice)






3. Click on 3 dots





4. Click on Create Credit Note





5. Fill in the info here 

(If your sales invoice is in the base currency, you will not see the currency exchange rate.)





6. Fill in item info





7. Click on Confirm





8. You will see the adjustment record on the Invoice tab and the total amount has been updated.





9. You will see the journal entries of the credit note on the Journal Entries tab.





10. You will see a credit note number on the Reference Link tab







Here is how you can monitor your Credit Note report.



1. Go to Report and click View More


2. Find Credit Note Report


3. And you've reached your Credit Note Report
