How to Add a New Product/Service & Auto Create a Product (New Vers.)

Learn how to add a new product or service manually, or enable automatic product creation directly from your invoices.

Add a new product

1. To choose whether a product code tracks stock or not, click on Settings

2. Click on Product

3. Click on Product Settings

4. Check 'Set inventory tracking for each product'

5. Click on Products/Services and select 'Products/Services'

6. Click on Add New

7. Choose the product type to add

Auto create a product

8. Click on Settings

9. Click on Sales

10. Click on Preference

11. Check 'Auto-create product if it does not exist'

12. To enable this on purchases, click on Purchases

13. Click on Preference

14. Enable 'Auto-create product if it does not exist'

15. Click on Sales Invoices

16. Add a new Sales Invoice

17. Enter the product details in the fields

18. Fill in the invoice details

19. Click on Save

20. To view the created product, click on Products/Services and select 'Products/Services'

21. The product has been automatically created from the invoice.
