What Is Recurring Billing? (New Vers.)
Recurring billing is an automatic payment process where customers are charged at regular intervals (such as weekly, monthly, or annually) for products or services they've subscribed to. It ensures timely payments and helps businesses maintain steady cash flow.
1. Click on Sales Invoices
2. Click on Add New and select 'Sales Invoices'
3. Click on the three-dot menu
4. Click on Settings
5. Toggle Set Recurring
6. Frequency (interval): specify the interval according to the chosen unit. (E.g. 3 days, 2 weeks, 4 months, etc.)
Frequency (unit): you have a choice of repeating it by Day, Week, Month or Year
7. Example: Repeat monthly on every 7th of the month (e.g.: 7 Jan, 7 Feb, 7 Mar, etc.)
8. Example: Repeat yearly on 7th Jan
9. Once you have finished editing, click Apply
10. Click on Save
11. Recurring invoices will be indicated with a flash icon
12. You can edit the recurring invoice by selecting the three-dot menu
13. Click on Edit
14. Select the three-dot menu
15. Click on Settings
16. Click on Open recurring
17. You can edit the frequency of the recurring invoice
18. Edit the next recurring date
19. Until: the date this recurring should end.
(If you wish to repeat it forever, kindly leave this column blank.)
20. Click on Cashflow and select 'Recurring Bills'
21. You can view all of your recurring billings here
