How to Set Default Invoice Print Layout

Invoice Printing Layout allows you to choose between two formats for your invoices. The Full Tax Invoice format includes detailed tax information and is suitable for businesses that need to provide comprehensive billing. The Receipt Format (Simplified Tax Invoice) is designed for cash sales, providing a streamlined version for quick transactions.

How to Set Default Invoice Print Layout


1. Click on Profile and select Settings




2. Click on Sales




3. Click on Preference




4. Enable Receipt Layout




5. Select a default invoice printing layout

5.1 Layout of Invoice Format (Full Tax Invoice)

Full Tax Invoice Format: Used for business-to-business (B2B) transactions, such as when invoicing a company for bulk product orders or services, where a detailed tax breakdown is required.




5.2 Layout of Receipt Format (Simplified Tax Invoice)
Simplified Tax Invoice Format: Suitable for business-to-consumer (B2C) transactions, like cash sales at a convenience store, where minimal tax details are needed.




6. Click on sales and select Sales Invoices





7. Click on Add New




8. Click on 3 dots and select Settings




9. If you set Receipt Format as default, Simplified Tax Invoice auto-enables for new invoices. If you set Invoice Format, Standard Invoice auto-enables for new invoices.

(If you want to print a new invoice in a format different from the default, click the toggle and then click Apply)




10. Now continue to fill in the info, then click Save

11. Find your newly created invoice, then click on 3 dots and click Print




12. Click Print. To customize the printing layout, click the three dots and then click Customize Print.
