How to create a Debit Note

Modified on Tue, 17 Dec at 5:38 PM

What is Debit Note?

A debit note can be issued by a seller to a buyer to increase the amount the buyer needs to pay. This happens when the original invoice is too low, if extra charges need to be added later, or if the buyer wants to add more items after the invoice has been created. For example, if there were extra shipping costs, additional items, or fees that were not included in the first invoice. The debit note informs the buyer about these extra costs and ensures the seller and buyer have accurate records.
